I firmly believe that the only barriers that prevent us from being the best version of ourselves are those of our own imagination.

In life we all face difficult obstacles, however how we overcome them is our own choice. We can allow them to overwhelm us and rule our lives or decide to confront them.

The various therapies I provide will help you find your inner strength and guide you on the path to self-realisation.

It has been said that breaking through self-imposed barriers is one of the most challenging tasks we face. Having trained and gained my qualifications through The East Anglian Institute of Hypnotherapy in not only Hypnotherapy, but also Neuro Linguistic Programming and Thought Field Therapy, I am equipped to offer a wide range of techniques and therapies tailored to assist you to overcome and break free from those barriers; issues and problems that have been holding you back from being the best version of yourself.

Prior to qualifying I worked in the legal profession for over 40 years and had been running my own business for 29 years. I was feeling unfulfilled, however, over the five years I studied and trained to obtain my qualifications, I experienced first-hand how the various therapies effectively, powerfully and positively change lives. These experiences have made me more enthusiastic and passionate to help bring change to your life.

The changes, wellbeing and happiness my therapy sessions have brought to the many volunteers who assisted me to qualify has brought their own rewards and is a driving force for me. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to fulfil your potential to become a better you.


A frequently asked question is “What is Hypnotherapy”.  The well known TV Doctor, Dr Hilary Jones wrote in his book “Doctor, What’s the alternative” as follows:

“hypnotherapy is a kind of psychotherapy…hypnotherapy aims to reprogram patterns of behaviour within the mind, enabling irrational fears, phobias, negative thoughts and suppressed emotions to be overcome.”

Here are a few of the frequently asked questions about Hypnotherapy

Will I go to sleep?

No. You will simply be guided into a relaxed trance.

Can I get stuck in Hypnosis or trance?

No.  It is impossible to become “stuck”.  As mentioned above, as it is a natural state, your subconscious will bring you out of trance even in the event of the therapist leaving the room.

What is trance?

It is a naturally accruing state of mind.  How often have you found yourself engrossed in a good book, so engrossed you have not noticed the passing of time? Or you have driven a route only to find yourself at your destination but cannot recall X, Y and Z landmarks?  Or simply daydream? These are all naturally occurring trance states.

Please note that time frames and results vary for each client and cannot be guaranteed.

How long will the sessions last?

Typically, a session will last for an hour.

How many sessions will I need?

This really depends upon what your “issue” or problem is.  Some issues can be dealt with in one go, others will require a number of sessions.  As we are all individuals, I will tailor the therapy to suit you and your issue.

Will I lose control?

No.  As we are communicating with your subconscious, you are always in control.

What does it cost?

After our initial free telephone consultation, the following face to face hour long sessions cost £75.00 each.

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)

NLP was devised by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970’s. They studied the methods and techniques of famous and very successful “Talking Therapy” experts; modelling their methods and noticed that subtle changes of language used was very effective in creating change.  For example, if we think and speak; think and feel in negative ways, our behaviour reflects this negativity.  By altering our speech, we alter our thinking and also alter our feelings.  It has been called “the art and science of communication”.

NLP helps you to understand yourself; how you think; how you feel and how you make sense of everyday life.  NLP creates a positive mind set.

NLP is ever evolving, and I continue to update my training and exploring the many techniques used to help you break the barriers holding you back.

Thought Field Therapy (TFT)

For thousands of years Acupuncture has been used by practitioners inserting thin needles through the skin at certain selected points of the body to manipulate the flow of energy or Qi through the body along highways called meridians.

In 1980 the renowned clinical psychologist Dr Roger Callahan PhD developed the theory that tapping, instead of inserting a thin needle, at selected meridian points on the body would balance or unblock the energy flow. He results he achieved were remarkable and Dr Callahan went on to devise a series of algorithms to conquer fears, anxieties and emotional distress.

TFT is a painless, fun and incredibly powerful technique for rapid resolution of all types of negative emotional distress.

I was fortunate to have been trained by a leader in this field who in turn was trained by Dr Callahan.
